How Lammi collects, uses and protects your information.

This Privacy Policy explains how Lammi AI Pty Ltd (ABN 85 458 846 334) ("Lammi", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses, discloses and protects your personal information when you use the Lammi mobile application and related services (the "App"). Lammi is an AI gaming companion that provides AI generated gaming answers, a community where players can chat and help one another, a Helper Board with experience points and rankings, daily challenges, build recommendations, walkthroughs and search.

By downloading, accessing or using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in line with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

  1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We aim to collect only the information we need to run the App, and we try to keep the amount of personal information we hold to a minimum. We collect the following categories of information so that the App can work and improve.

Information you provide directly

  • Account details. When you create an account we collect details such as your username or display name, email address and password. If you sign in using Sign in with Apple or your Google account, we receive basic account details from that provider, such as your name and email address.

  • Profile information. Any details you choose to add to your profile, such as an avatar, bio or favourite games.

  • Gaming preferences. Information about your gaming that you share with us, such as the types of games you play, games you have played, hours played, and your answers to onboarding or questionnaire questions. We use this to personalise your experience and for marketing.

  • Content you create. Messages, questions, tips, comments and other content you post in the community, along with bookmarks and saved items.

  • AI prompts. The questions and prompts you send to the AI assistant.

  • Support and contact. Information you give us when you contact support, report content or send feedback.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage data. How you interact with the App, such as features used, searches run, experience points earned, rankings, daily challenge activity and session times.

  • Device and technical data. Device type and model, operating system and version, app version, language settings, time zone, and unique device or installation identifiers.

  • Diagnostics. Crash reports, performance data and error logs that help us keep the App stable.

  • Approximate location. A general location may be inferred from your IP address. We do not collect precise GPS location.

Information from third parties

We may receive information from service providers that help us run the App, such as authentication, analytics and crash reporting providers, and from Apple and Google when you download or subscribe through the app stores.

  1. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use your information to:

  • Provide, operate and maintain the App and its features.

  • Generate AI answers and personalise build recommendations and search results.

  • Use your gaming preferences and questionnaire answers to personalise your experience and to send you relevant offers and marketing, where permitted by law. You can opt out of marketing at any time.

  • Run the community, including chat, the Helper Board, experience points, rankings and daily challenges.

  • Create and manage your account and keep it secure.

  • Manage your subscription and provide the features it unlocks.

  • Respond to your questions, support requests and reports.

  • Understand how the App is used so we can fix problems and improve it.

  • Detect, prevent and address fraud, abuse, spam and breaches of our terms.

  • Send you service messages and, where you have not opted out, updates about the App.

  • Comply with our legal obligations and enforce our terms.

Where required by law, we rely on a lawful basis to process your information, including your consent, the performance of our agreement with you, our legitimate interests in running and improving the App, and compliance with legal obligations.

  1. AI FEATURES AND YOUR PROMPTS

The App uses artificial intelligence to answer your gaming questions and generate recommendations. Lammi runs a selection of open weight AI models that we operate ourselves on infrastructure we control or that is operated by our hosting providers on our behalf. This means your prompts are not handed to a separate commercial AI company for their own purposes.

When you use these features, your prompts and related context are processed to generate a response and may be stored to provide the feature, keep your history and improve the App. Please do not include sensitive personal information in your prompts. AI generated responses may be inaccurate or incomplete and are provided for general help only.

  1. COMMUNITY AND PUBLIC CONTENT

Lammi is a social App. Content you post in the community, your username, your profile details and your position on the Helper Board may be visible to other users and to the public. Please be mindful that anything you share publicly can be seen, copied and shared by others. We are not responsible for information you choose to make public.

To keep the community safe, messages and other content may be moderated using automated tools and human review, so we can detect and remove harmful, abusive, illegal or rule breaking content. We provide tools to report and block content and users. We may remove content or suspend accounts that breach our community rules or terms of use.

  1. PAYMENTS AND SUBSCRIPTIONS

Lammi offers optional paid plans, including monthly and yearly subscriptions. All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store or by Google through Google Play under their own terms and privacy policies, and these are the only payment methods we support. We do not collect or store your full payment card details.

We receive limited information from Apple and Google needed to manage your purchase, such as your subscription status, the plan you bought, renewal dates and a purchase or transaction identifier. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can manage or cancel a subscription, and review refund options, through your Apple or Google account settings.

  1. HOW WE SHARE INFORMATION

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following ways:

  • Service providers. With trusted companies that provide hosting, databases, authentication, AI processing, analytics, crash reporting and customer support on our behalf. This includes Supabase, which we use for our database, authentication and storage, along with our cloud hosting, AI inference, analytics and crash reporting providers.

  • Other users. Public content, profile details and rankings are visible within the community as described above.

  • App stores and platforms. Apple and Google process downloads, subscriptions and purchases under their own privacy policies.

  • Legal reasons. Where we reasonably believe disclosure is required to comply with the law, a legal request or court order, or to protect the rights, safety or property of Lammi, our users or others.

  • Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

  1. STORAGE, SECURITY AND LOCATION

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, including encryption in transit and access controls. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your information is stored and processed in Australia. Some of our service providers may process limited information in other countries. Where information is transferred outside Australia, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled in line with this policy and the Australian Privacy Principles.

  1. HOW LONG WE KEEP INFORMATION

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App. After that, we retain and use information only as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

  1. YOUR RIGHTS AND CHOICES

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.

  • Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information.

  • Request deletion of your personal information.

  • Object to or restrict certain processing.

  • Request a copy of your information in a portable format.

  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

If you are in Australia, you have rights under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, including the right to make a complaint to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have rights under the GDPR. If you are in California, you have rights under the CCPA and CPRA, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights.   1. DELETING YOUR ACCOUNT

You can delete your account at any time from within the App under Settings, then Account, then Delete Account. You can also request deletion by emailing us at privacy@lammi.ai. When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal information, except where we are required or permitted to retain it by law. Some public content you posted may remain visible unless you remove it first.

  1. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

The App is not intended for children under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child under 16 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

  1. PUSH NOTIFICATIONS

With your permission, we may send push notifications about daily challenges, streaks, community activity and App updates. You can turn these off at any time in your device settings.

  1. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you within the App. Your continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
